Responsibilities: - Ensuring guests have a seamless check-in and check-out experience - Solely responsible for emergency matters within the lodge - Provide information and assistance to our guests wherever required - Communicating with guests via phone call, email, face to face and on OTA platforms and managing pre-arrival information - Booking services for guests, answering guest requests and giving recommendations on activities and restaurants - Safely transport guests to and from various locations within the area (Ski Shuttle) - Housekeeping duties, including full changeovers and linen orders - Maintaining a comfortable and welcoming environment - Removing snow from vehicle and property - Working and communicating as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of the operation - Preparing continental breakfast - Communicating any grievances to management as required - Documentation of any new procedures - Control and management of stock and ordering Qualifications: - Previous experience in Chalets or Lodges - Previous experience in a customer service, hospitality, or travel industry preferred - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a high level of attention to detail - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment - Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Japanese) are a plus - Passion for travel, outdoor recreation, and exploring new destinations - Valid International Driver’s License - Must have or be eligible for a Japanese Working Holiday Visa

For the 2024/2025 season, in addition to our complimentary all-day kids’ lessons and level 1-3 group lessons for guests staying for a minimum of 4 nights in our hotels, ALSC is offering paid private lessons, advanced group lessons and inbound guided tours of Madarao for all Active Life guests, meaning more opportunities for our instructors to earn a high level of pay while honing their teaching experience. You must possess a minimum level 1 certification within an internationally governed (ISIA) system. We are looking for people who are highly safety conscious, have a sense of humor and possess a high level of emotional intelligence, integrity, and attention to detail.
