Ship Management

You will be responsible for practical ship management in the shipping department. Your duties will mainly involve coordinating maintenance and repairs of ships (maintenance every few years), procurement of ship supplies, safety management, budget and cost management related to ship supplies. Details include: - Checking emails - Buying food and supplies for crew during dock and handover - Arranging and overseeing each ship's dock operations - Regular visits to each ship - Processing of unloaded goods for each ship - Inventory management and cleaning at the Higashimon warehouse - Meetings regarding repairs for each ship - Arranging/checking meetings regarding consumables for each ship - Arranging/checking meetings regarding parts for each ship - Checking work allowances, works, and arrangements for each ship - Agreements on dock fees and consumables for each ship - Attending crane inspections at Higashimon warehouse and disposal of unnecessary items (using dump truck and unic)
